A Fathers Guide To Successful Parables

Have you ever struggled with:

Teaching your children a lesson?

or

Explaining something to your wife?

or

Encouraging a friend to do the right thing?

For most of us these are difficult things to do and we often avoid doing them.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the Holy Spirit would come down and give us the knowledge of the kingdom of God?

In the Book of Luke 8:9-10 the disciples ask, “What the meaning of this parable might be.”

Here is the passage in full:

Then his disciples asked him what the meaning of this parable might be. He answered, “Knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of God has been granted to you; but to the rest, they are made known through parables so that ‘they may look but not see, and hear but not understand.’
